Leeds Group PLC07 March 2005 Leeds Group Plc ("Leeds Group" or "the Company") Substantial Shareholding, and Director's Shareholding Substantial Shareholding Leeds Group announces that the Board has been advised that, following recentadditions to their shareholding in the Company, Alasdair and Richard Emslie arenow the beneficial holders of 1,375,000 ordinary shares in the Company,representing 3.8 per cent. of the Company's issued ordinary share capital. Director's shareholding The Company announces that on Thursday March 2005, one of its directors, JohanClaesson, transferred 7,603,050 shares in the Company beneficially owned by himfrom Nordea Bank Denmark to Citiclient Nominees No 1. This was done in order toseparate this beneficial holding from shares in the Company held by Nordea Bankon behalf of other clients, to enable Mr Claesson to exercise his voting rightsat the forthcoming AGM of the Company. There has been no change in Mr Claesson'sbeneficial holding of 7,703,050 ordinary shares, representing 21.0 per cent ofthe issued share capital of Leeds Group.
