Exercise of Options & Directors Dealings

The Company announces that on 14 August 2012 Mr Michael Haynes, Group Sales & Marketing Director exercised options under The Portmeirion 2002 Share Option Scheme to subscribe for a total of 31,300 ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at an exercise price of £1.975 each. Accordingly, the Company has issued and allotted 31,300 Ordinary Shares.

Application has been made for 31,300 Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and trading of these shares is expected to commence on or around 21 August 2012.

The Company was also informed on 14 August 2012 that on 14 August 2012 Mr Haynes subsequently sold a total of 31,300 Ordinary Shares at £4.50 per share. Following the exercise and sale, Mr Haynes holds an interest in 45,000 Ordinary Shares representing 0.43% of the issued share capital of the Company.

Following this notification, the Company has 10,816,474 Ordinary Shares in issue and 10,405,956 Ordinary Shares with voting rights. The total number of Ordinary Shares now held by the Company in treasury is 410,518.
