Stobart Group Limited
('the Company' or 'Stobart Group')
Director Shareholding
Stobart Group Limited, the infrastructure and support services group, has been notified that Andrew Tinkler, Executive Director of Stobart Group, has entered into arrangements to sell a proportion of his Stobart Group shares in order to re-balance his interests in Stobart Group and Stobart Capital, and the Company was notified on 19 September 2017 that, on the same date, he had sold 1.25 million ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 291.05 pence per share.
Commenting on the planned share sale, Iain Ferguson, Chairman of Stobart Group said "Andrew divides his time between his roles as an Executive Director of Stobart Group and as Executive Chairman of Stobart Capital, which was established to identify and develop investment opportunities for Stobart Group. The Stobart Group Board anticipates situations where it would welcome an investment commitment from Andrew alongside its own, and his planned share sales will enable him to make such investments."
On 18 September 2017, Andrew Tinkler gave irrevocable instructions to Cenkos Securities, the Company's joint broker, to sell up to 10m shares in the Company within certain pricing parameters, which would reduce his shareholding in Stobart Group by approximately 3% to approximately 5.25%. As he has no ongoing discretion in this matter, the trading plan can continue to operate during the current closed period of the Company and beyond if required.
Following the sale, Andrew's holding is as follows:
Director | No. of Ordinary Shares held prior to Sale | No. of Ordinary Shares Sold | No. of Ordinary Shares held following Sale | Percentage of Issued Share Capital following Sale
|
Andrew Tinkler | 28,476,811 | 1,250,000 | 27,226,811 | 7.73%
|
