Greene King PLC11 January 2005 Directors' shareholdings Greene King plc announces that, on 10 January 2005, 10,000 shares in the companywere transferred by Kleinwort Benson (Guernsey) Trustees Limited, as trustee ofthe Greene King Employee Share Trust, to satisfy options exercised by employeesunder the Greene King Executive Share Option Scheme 1994 . As a result of thetransfer, Tim Bridge, Michael Shallow, Rooney Anand, Mark Angela and DavidElliott, who are beneficiaries of the trust, no longer have an interest in the10,000 shares in the company. This brings the number of shares in the Companyowned by the Greene King Employee Share Trust to a total of 156,460.
