Galliford Try PLC19 April 2005 GALLIFORD TRY PLC PURCHASE OF SHARES BY THE GALLIFORD TRY EMPLOYEE SHARE TRUST The Company announces that the Galliford Try Employee Share Trust, which holds3,682,471 ordinary shares in the Company for the purpose of satisfying shareawards granted under the Galliford Try Restricted Share Plan which applies tothe Directors, has on 18th April 2005 purchased 750,000 ordinary shares(equivalent to 0.33 per cent of the Company's issued share capital) at a priceof 60p per share. The Galliford Try Employee Share Trust now holds 4,432,471ordinary shares in the Company (equivalent to 1.95 per cent of the Company'sissued share capital).
