ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on 28 August 2009 Tudor Brown, who is President and a director of the Company, exercised an option over 516,801 shares under the Company's Share Option Scheme at an exercise price of 43.75 pence per share and sold all of the shares at a price of 130.04 pence per share.  His shareholding continues to be 1,816,380 shares.
