Andrew Thomas was appointed a Non-executive Director of JJB in October 1994ahead of its IPO on the London Stock Exchange. The Board of JJB wishes to thankAndrew for the considerable contribution he has made to the growth of JJB overthe last 13 years and wishes him every success in his other continuing businessinterests. Consideration has been given for a number of years to Andrew's retirement datein light of A.7.2 of the Combined Code on Corporate Governance.
