Director Resignations

4 February 2014 TANGIERS PETROLEUM LIMITED Director Resignations Tangiers Petroleum Limited (ASX: TPT; AIM: TPET) (Tangiers) advises that Ms EveHowell and Mr Max de Vietri have resigned respectively as Executive Chairmanand Non-executive Director, effective immediately, citing the loss of supportof several major shareholders. Executive Director Brent Villemarette today thanked both directors for theirefforts and their contribution to the Company, and wished them all the verybest in their future endeavours. Replacements for Ms Howell and Mr de Vietri will be advised once newappointments have been made. Tangiers will continue its strategy of building an African focused explorationand production company that delivers material benefits to its shareholders. Tangiers shares have been suspended from trading on the Australian SecuritiesExchange (ASX), pending the appointment of the new directors. Tangiers shareswill continue to trade on the AIM market during this period. Tangiers notes that the shares of Jacka Resources Ltd, for whom Tangiers hasmade an off-market takeover offer (Offer), have also been placed in a tradinghalt on the ASX pending an announcement on the implications of the Tangiersdirectors resignations on this Offer. Tangiers will update the market on anydevelopments that occur in relation to the Offer.
