Sally Ding has been appointed as Director of Treasury and Corporate Finance with immediate effect, having acted in the role on an interim basis.
Sally is a highly experienced treasurer with well-proven competence across the entire financing and treasury portfolio, ranging from funding, investor relations, risk management, corporate finance, systems and treasury operations.
Since joining Heathrow in 2006, she has played a leading role in shaping and delivering Heathrow's capital structure and financing strategy. During her time as acting Director, Sally's team has successfully raised £900 million across several funding transactions, renegotiated Heathrow's £600 million liquidity facilities and completed a £1.4 billion hedging programme, while diversifying and strengthening further our global financing platform.
Prior to joining Heathrow, Sally developed her strong technical competence working in investment banking in Hong Kong and in the transport and energy industry across Australia and China.
Commenting on Sally's appointment, Heathrow CFO Javier Echave said:
