Gooch and Housego, the specialist manufacturer of advanced optoelectroniccomponents, materials, instruments and systems has appointed a new Director ofSales. Paul Morris, a Physics graduate of Aston University, joins the company fromBookham, the technology company who acquired Nortel's Optical ComponentsDivision in 2003 where Mr Morris was European Sales Director. He will spearhead the development of a new co-ordinated global sales team andmore customer-focussed sales strategy for the PLC's five complementarysubsidiaries soon to be re-launched as a single integrated business.
