Pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13R (1) Royal Dutch Shell plc confirms that Mr Wijers is Chairman of the Board of Management of Akzo Nobel N.V.

There is no information to disclose pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13R (2) to Listing Rule 9.6.13R (6) inclusive.
