3i Group plc notes the announcement today by Rolls-Royce Holdings plc that Stephen Daintith has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer and an executive director of Rolls-Royce Holdings plc with effect from a date in early 2017 to be notified in due course. As previously announced by 3i Group plc Stephen Daintith has been appointed as a non-executive Director of 3i Group plc with effect from 1 October 2016.

This announcement is made pursuant to paragraph 9.6.14R of the UKLA's Listing Rules.
