Chemring Group PLC Director Declaration

In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.14, Chemring Group PLC announces that Dr. David Price, Chief Executive, will be appointed as an independent non-executive director of AZ Electronic Materials S.A. ("AZ") with effect from 4 May 2011, subject to prior shareholder approval being obtained at AZ's Annual General Meeting to be held on that date.
