AMEC plc - update re Linda Adamany - Non-Executive Director

Pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.14(2), we hereby advise that on 11 March 2013, Linda Adamany, non-executive director of AMEC plc, was appointed to the Board of Directors of Coeur d'Alene Mines Corporation, the US-based publicly quoted primary silver producer and a growing gold producer. Ms Adamany will also serve on Coeur's Audit Committee and its Environmental, Health, Safety and Social Responsibility Committee of the Board.
