The Company hereby announces that Harish Manwani, a non-executive director of Pearson and member of its nomination & governance and reputation & responsibility committees, will be retiring as non-executive chairman of Hindustan Unilever Limited, an Indian publicly quoted company, and will not be seeking re-election at its forthcoming annual general meeting.

This notification is made in accordance with LR 9.6.14.
