DIRECTOR NOTIFICATION
As previously announced, Mr Simon Beale, Underwriting Director of Amlin London, was elected to the Board of Amlin plc at its Annual General Meeting held on 12 May 2011 (to serve as an executive Director).
Mr Beale was a director of R J Bromley (Underwriting Agencies) PLC during (or within) the 12 months prior to it being placed into a creditors voluntary liquidation in 1993, with the company finally being dissolved in 1997. This was a Lloyd's managing agency affected by the problems in the Lloyd's market in the early 1990s. Mr Beale has no other matters to declare in accordance with listing rule 9.6.13R (1) to (6).
