Rexam, the global consumer packaging company, advises that Graham Chipchase, Chief Executive of Rexam, is to be appointed as a non executive director of AstraZeneca PLC, a company listed on the London Stock Exchange. Subject to approval by shareholders at AstraZeneca's annual general meeting on 26 April 2012, the appointment will become effective on the same date. This disclosure is made in compliance with Listing Rule 9.6.14.
