Further to the announcement made today by Wincanton plc ('Wincanton'), notification is made in accordance with LR 9.6.14R that Paul Venables, Group Finance Director of Hays plc, has accepted an invitation to join the board of Wincanton as a non-executive director, with effect from 2 September 2009.
