Further to the announcement on 20 June 2008, regarding the appointment of Mr. Alan Ralph as an executive director of the Company, United Drug hereby notifies the following pursuant to paragraph 6.6.7 of the ISE Listing Rules and 9.6.13 of the UKLA Listing Rules:
(a) in the last five years Mr. Ralph has not been a director of any publicly quoted company
(b) there are no details requiring disclosure for Mr. Ralph under paragraph 6.6.7 (2) to (6) of the ISE
Listing Rules or under paragraph 9.6.13 (2) to (6) of the UKLA Listing Rules.
In addition, in fulfilment of any obligation imposed by section 53 (1) of the Companies Act, 1990, Mr. Ralph has notified the Company that he currently holds 78,689 ordinary shares of 5c each in the share capital of the Company. In addition Mr. Ralph holds 498,500 share options over ordinary shares of 5c each in the share capital of the Company, issued under the United Drug 2002 Executive Share Option Scheme, as amended and 11,026 shares of 5c each in the share capital of the Company are also held in Trust on behalf of Mr. Ralph, as restricted stock, which were acquired under the United Drug Share Incentive Scheme.
