Director Declaration

Further to the announcement by United Drug plc (the 'Company'), on 12 April 2010 regarding the appointment of Mr. Chris Brinsmead as a non-executive director, the Company hereby notifies the following pursuant to paragraph 6.6.7 of the Irish Stock Exchange Listing Rules and 9.6.13 of the UK Listing Authority Listing Rules:

(a) Mr. Brinsmead is currently a director of Domino Printing Sciences plc. Mr. Brinsmead has not held any other directorships in any other publicly quoted company in the past five years; and 

(b) there are no details requiring disclosure for Mr. Brinsmead under paragraph 6.6.7 (2) to (6) of the Irish Stock Exchange Listing Rules or under paragraph 9.6.13 (2) to (6) of the UK Listing Authority Listing Rules.

In addition, in fulfilment of any obligation imposed by Section 53 (1) of the Companies Act, 1990, Mr. Brinsmead has notified the Company that he currently holds no ordinary shares and no share options over ordinary shares of 5c each in the share capital of the Company.
