Further to the announcement made today by 3i Group plc ("3i"), notification is made in accordance with LR 9.6.14R that Alistair Cox, Chief Executive of Hays plc, has accepted an invitation to join the board of 3i as a non-executive director, with effect from 1 October 2009.
