Notification of new directorship

The Company has today been informed that Rudy Markham, a Non-Executive Director of Legal & General Group Plc, was appointed as a member of the Supervisory Board of CSM n.v. on 1 January 2011. It is intended that Mr Markham will be appointed as Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board at the forthcoming annual general meeting of CSM n.v. to be held on 3 May 2011.
