7digital (AIM:7DIG), the digital music and radio services company, announces that it has been notified that Sir Donald Cruickshank, Non-Executive Chairman of the Company, purchased 653,000 ordinary shares of 10 pence in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 6.125 pence per Ordinary Share on 21 January 2016.

Following this purchase, Mr Cruickshank is a beneficial holder of 943,000 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.87 per cent. of the total voting rights of the Company.
