Director dealing and option exercise

LONDON - Monitise plc (LSE: MONI) announces that it was notified on 2 October 2015 that on the same day 1,000,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") were purchased by Lee Cameron, Chief Executive Officer of Monitise, at a price of 2.783p per Ordinary Share.

Monitise also announces that on 2 October 2015 Lee Cameron exercised options over 300,000 Ordinary Shares at an exercise price of 1 pence per Ordinary Share. The options were granted on 14 October 2008 under the Performance Share Plan. No shares were subsequently sold to satisfy exercise costs or cover the tax liability associated with the exercise of the options.

As a result of the above transactions, Lee Cameron holds 1,588,880 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.07% of the voting rights of the Company, and 10,750,000 options over Ordinary Shares, representing 0.49% of the issued share capital of the Company.

Following the above option exercise, Monitise has 2,200,614,912 Ordinary Shares in issue. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
