Director dealing and clarification regarding Director's holding
Good Energy announces that on 20th October 2016, Shire Oak Energy Limited, a company wholly owned by Mark Shorrock, husband of Juliet Davenport, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, sold its entire holding of 25,000 ordinary shares of 5p each (the "Ordinary Shares") in the Company (the "Share Sale") at a price of 260p per share.
In preparing this RNS it has come to light that Good Energy did not previously include the shares held by Shire Oak Energy Limited or Mark Shorrock's personal holding of 43,000 Ordinary Shares in the Company, in Ms. Davenport's holding.
Part of Mark Shorrock's personal holding in the Company was acquired prior to the Company being admitted to trading on AIM, therefore Ms. Davenport's holding was understated by 3,000 shares in the Admission Document (dated 25th July 2012). The balance of 40,000 Ordinary Shares held by Mark Shorrock was subscribed for through the Open Offer on 31st July 2013.
Following the Share Sale, the Company can confirm that Ms. Davenport's holding is 637,086 Ordinary Shares representing 3.9 per cent. of the present issued share capital of the Company. This figure is 43,000 Ordinary Shares higher than that which has been previously disclosed.
