Firestone Diamonds plc, the AIM-quoted diamond company, announces that it was notified on 24 July 2014 that Lucio Genovese, Chairman of the Company, was notified on 23 July 2014 that following the winding up of Audley Natural Resources Master Fund, which held 1,564,612 ordinary shares of one pence each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), 302,690 Ordinary Shares had been transferred for nil consideration to him in part settlement of his interest in the fund. The effective date of the transfer was 19 June 2014.
Of the Ordinary Shares transferred to Mr Genovese, 77,351 Ordinary Shares were transferred to Mr Genovese on behalf of a third party and these Ordinary Shares will be transferred for nil consideration to the third party at a future date. Until such time, Mr Genovese is legally interested in these Ordinary Shares.
As a result of the transfer, Mr Genovese is now interested in 1,846,945 Ordinary Shares representing 0.6 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.

Background information on Firestone
