Director Change - Executive Director of Finance

On 13 April Stonewater announced that John Bruton, the Executive Director of Finance, will leave the organisation in December 2021 and it would be commencing an open market recruitment for a new Executive Director of Finance.

This exercise has now been completed, and Anne Costain has been appointed. Ms Costain has been working at Stonewater as Director of Corporate Finance since August 2020 and has strong experience in the housing and commercial sectors, including her previous role as Interim Director of Resources at Thrive Homes. Prior to that, Ms Costain worked in finance roles for seven years at Radian Group. She is a chartered accountant and a member of Southern Housing Group's finance committee.

Ms Costain will work closely with John Bruton over the next few months on the transition, with the appointment becoming effective from the 1st of October, to allow a full handover before Mr Bruton steps down at the end of the year.
