JJB Sports PLC30 November 2007 30 November 2007 Appointment of David Jones CBE As a Non-executive Director Further to the announcement on 3 August 2007, JJB Sports plc ("JJB") isdelighted to confirm the appointment of David Jones as a Non-executive Directorwith effect from 1 October 2007. David has had a long career in the retail industry, notably as Chief Executiveand later Executive Chairman of Next plc, where he made an outstandingcontribution to the growth of the business. He was also a Non-executive Directorand later Non-executive Deputy Chairman of Wm. Morrison Supermarkets plc andChairman of Littlewoods Shop Direct Group. In addition to his work as a Non-executive Director of JJB, David will beclosely involved in the expansion of JJB's multi-channel offering through itsonline retailing and television shopping channels. He will also be involved inthe development of a JJB mail order operation. Non-executive Chairman of JJB, Roger Lane-Smith said:- "We are very pleased to confirm the appointment of a Non-executive Director withDavid's stature and experience.
