BCB HOLDINGS LIMITED ANNOUNCES DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT
Belize City, Belize July 1, 2009 - BCB Holdings Limited (London - AIM: BCB) (the "Company") announces that Wendell Mottley (Age 68) has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect.
Mr. Mottley is a citizen of Trinidad and Tobago, and holds a degree in economics from Yale University and a Masters in Economics from Cambridge University. Mr. Mottley joined the government service in Trinidad in 1981. During his tenure, he served as Minister of Industry and Commerce and held the position of Minister of Finance from 1991 to 1995. In 1996, Mr. Mottley joined Credit Suisse New York, where until recently he held the position of Managing Director.
Mr. Mottley is a member of the Leadership Council of Yale University's School of Forestry and the Environment. He is also a member of the Asa Wright Beard Foundation, and a former board member of the World Wildlife Fund. He also served on a special advisory committee to the President of the Inter-American Development Bank. Mr. Mottley represented Trinidad at the Olympic Games in 1964, where he won silver and bronze medals.
Mr. Mottley is currently a Director of the Asa Wright Nature Center. In the past five years, Mr. Mottley has been a member of the Chairman's Advisory Board of Credit Suisse IBD.
Mr. Mottley has no share interest in the Company.
There are no further details that are required to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules.
The Board of Directors of the Company now comprises of Lord Ashcroft, Philip Johnson, Lyndon Guiseppi, Peter Gaze, Philip Osborne, Cheryl Jones, John Searle, Euric Bobb and Wendell Mottley.
