Inmarsat plc (LSE: ISAT), the leading provider ofglobal mobile satellite communications services, today announces that itsPresident and Chief Operating Officer, Michael Butler will be leaving thecompany at the end of April next year. "Over the past 8 years, Michael has made a significant contribution to theevolution of Inmarsat from an intergovernmental organisation to an industryleading enterprise", said Andrew Sukawaty, Inmarsat's Chairman and ChiefExecutive Officer. "Michael will continue with his current responsibilitiesuntil April 2009 to oversee a smooth transition to the new commercial contractwith our global distribution partners, and the successful introduction ofInmarsat's new Global Satellite Phone Services."
