Kondratenko previously served as Head of the Risks Department and SeniorVice President. He joined VTB Group in 2013 and is responsible for riskmanagement. As a board member, he will be responsible for VTB Group's riskmanagement. This appointment will help optimise the bank management system and furtherstrengthen the risk management function for the whole Group, which isespecially important in the current economic environment. Reference Maxim Kondratenko was born 31 July, 1973. He graduated from Moscow StateUniversity and the London School of Business, and holds a PhD degree inEconomics. He joined VTB in 2013 as Head of the Risks department and Seniorvice president. Between 1999 and 2013, he worked consecutively at the BankAustria Creditanstalt (Russia), International Moscow Bank, Russian StandardBank and UniCreditBank (Russia), with responsibilities covering variousareas of corporate and retail business, credit restructuring and riskmanagement.
