Development and Planning Approval
Nature Group, (AIM:NGR), the provider of port reception facilities and waste treatment solutions for the oil, marine and process industries is pleased to announce that its subsidiary in Gibraltar, Nature Port Reception Facilities (NPRF) Ltd, was granted planning permission by the Development & Planning Commission (the "DPC") of the Government of Gibraltar (the "Government") on 10 April 2014 for the re-building of its Waste Oil Reception Facility situated at the North Mole.
This award of planning permission by the DPC is the result of months of constructive discussions with the Government and follows both an Environmental Impact Assessment ("EIA") and extensive evaluation of the detailed engineered design for the rebuild of the Waste Oil Reception Facility storage tanks, which will be in compliance with the latest European and local legislation.
The reconstruction of the tanks and facilities is expected to take up to 12 months and the new facility will be able to store waste oil products, thereby reducing current logistical challenges attributed to, and dependence on, floating storage only.
