In accordance with their obligations under the Transparency Directive Deutsche Bank AG of Frankfurt (on behalf of itself and Abbey Life Assurance Company Limited) notified the company after close of business on 20 December 2007 that as at 19 December 2007 it held voting rights in respect of 11,904,261 shares representing 3.68% of the issued share capital of Bodycote International plc on that day (less than 3% on 29 November 2007).
