Old Mutual PLC19 January 2005 Old Mutual plc Appointment of Deputy Finance Director Old Mutual plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Hoskins asDeputy Finance Director with effect from 10 January 2005. He will work closelywith Julian Roberts, Group Finance Director, on strengthening the worldwidefinance and risk functions and will particularly head up the programme for theintroduction of International Accounting Standards and European Embedded Valuein 2005. Richard joins from National Australia Bank, where he held a number of seniorpositions before heading up National Australia Bank's insurance business inEurope in 2003. A graduate of Sheffield University, he joined Deloitte in 1985,specialising in the financial services sector. He moved with Deloitte toAustralia in 1989 and worked for a number of high profile Australian companiesincluding Qantas Airways, Lend Lease Corporation and MLC Limited, prior tojoining NAB in 2000.
