Ericsson and iPoint-media jointly demonstrate new 'GOliveCare' product at Mobile World Congress 2009
GOliveCare is a new live interactive mobile video solution for healthcare providers
iPoint-media (AIM: IPNT), a provider of live video content and interaction delivery platforms for the web, mobile and television, announces that it developed a live interactive video application for healthcare providers, called 'GOliveCare'. GOliveCare allows mobile subscribers to make a 3G video call to their healthcare provider, record their complaint or request an online clinician.
Recordings are routed to a shared pool with an initial classification, where healthcare clinicians can retrieve the message, assign it with a priority level, respond to the subscriber via video call, or forward the case to other clinicians.
A demonstration of GOliveCare will be jointly presented by Ericsson and the Company at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2009 tradeshow in Barcelona.
Muki Geller, iPoint-media's CEO commented:
"We are very excited about GOliveCare as it has the potential to provide a higher level of customer service for healthcare providers as well as the potential to cut costs by reducing the number of unnecessary hospital visits."
