DEMISE OF AN EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

TRANSITION OF MR. VICTOR EZENWOKO (EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, REGIONAL BUSINESS, LAGOS/WEST)

We write to notify the London Stock Exchange (the LSE) of the sudden demise of Mr. Victor Ezenwoko, Executive Director in charge of Regional Businesses in Lagos/West Directorate, on March 25, 2016.

Mr. Ezenwoko joined the Bank in 1997 and was appointed an Executive Director in 2010. In the intervening period, he held many roles and served the bank in many capacities.

The Exchange will be notified of any new development.
