Delivery of new tank ship

Fisher (James) & Sons PLC03 April 2006 JAMES FISHER - SHANNON FISHER DELIVERY James Fisher & Sons plc (Fishers), the UK's leading marine oil servicesprovider, announces that it has taken delivery of the latest in an ongoingseries of new product tankers. The 5000 dwt Shannon Fisher was built at theDamen Shipyards facility in Galati, Romania. The vessel is the first of twoclean petroleum product carriers ordered from this yard by the major UK tankerowner. Shannon Fisher and her sister-ship Solway Fisher are both owned by First ShipLease Ltd (FSL) on a ten-year bareboat charter with Fishers. The double-hull state of the art Shannon Fisher is now in full service in JamesFisher Tankships' extensive contract network around the UK, Irish and North WestEurope coast. She is the third newbuilding to enter service in a year - afurther component in the Company's fleet development programme. This deliverygives James Fisher the most modern double-hulled fleet in its market with 16vessels to include Solway Fisher. Paul Rodwell, Managing Director of James Fisher Tankships, said: "Shannon Fisher's arrival takes the average age of our fleet to 8 years. Shedelivered on time with the build and delivery process taking 20 months. The shipis now busy in our developing marine oil services business.
