Birse Group PLC24 July 2006 24 July 2006 Birse Group plc ("Birse") Delisting Balfour Beatty plc announced on 24 July 2006, that its recommended offer forBirse had been declared unconditional in all respects. Application has been made by Birse to the UKLA for the cancellation of Birse'slisting on the Official List of the UKLA and to the London Stock Exchange forthe cancellation of the admission to trading of Birse shares on the London StockExchange's market for listed securities. It is anticipated that cancellation oflisting and admission to trading will take effect from 21 August 2006, being 20business days following the date of this announcement.
