DEFERMENT OF PUBLICATION OF NMBZ HOLDINGS LIMITED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2019

Following the declaration by the World Health Organisation on 11 March 2020 that the novel Corona Virus ("COVID -19") is a global pandemic; the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe proceeded to declare COVID-19 as a National Disaster. This was done through Statutory Instrument 76 of 2020. Many measures have been put in place at national and institutional levels to mitigate the risks of spreading of COVID-19.

In light of the above, NMBZ Holdings Limited ("NMBZ") wishes to advise all stakeholders that its financial statements for the year ended on 31 December 2019, due for publication by the 31st of March 2020 shall now be deferred to publication on or before the 30th of April 2020. This is due to the rapidly evolving developments regarding COVID-19 coupled with the measures being implemented by various authorities and NMBZ.
