DECISION OF COMPETITION APPEAL TRIBUNAL

The Competition Appeal Tribunal has today handed down its judgment in Galliford Try's appeal against the level of the fine imposed by the Office of Fair Trading in September 2009 for three breaches of the Competition Act 1998 between 2001 and 2004 in respect of cover pricing.

The Tribunal has decided to reduce the fine from £8.33 million to £1,395,000.
