Death of Group Finance Director
It is with much regret that the Board of Photo-Me (PHTM.L), the instant service equipment group, announces the death yesterday of Jean-Luc Peurois, the Group Finance Director, aged 51.
Although diagnosed with a serious illness in October 2007, Jean-Luc continued to oversee the work of the Finance Department and to participate in Board meetings.
A Chartered Accountant and MBA, Jean-Luc joined KIS in 1985. He became a Director of Photo-Me in 1994 (when KIS joined the Group) and was appointed Group Finance Director in 2000.
Serge Crasnianski, Deputy Chairman & Interim CEO, said: "Jean-Luc was a charming man who inspired great loyalty from his colleagues. He was hugely committed to, and very knowledgeable about, the Group, having spent almost half his life in it. Our thoughts are with his wife and four children at this time."
