Costain Group PLC14 November 2007 COSTAIN GROUP PLC("Costain") Eurostar Trains Commence Services Costain is delighted to have played a major role as part of the CORBER jointventure in the refurbishment of St Pancras station, part of the £5.8 billionChannel Tunnel Rail Link and St Pancras refurbishment project. The first scheduled train services commence operation into and from St Pancrastoday. At the official opening of the new St Pancras Station and Eurostar Terminus lastweek, specific mention was made of the highly technical and intricate nature ofthe work undertaken. In particular, it was noted that the project, which took10 years to complete, was delivered ahead of schedule and on budget. Andrew Wyllie, Chief Executive of Costain, said: "This was a flagship project not just for Costain but for the country as awhole, probably the largest and most complex civil engineering projectundertaken since the Thames Barrier which Costain also played a key part in. "We are proud to have been a part of this major achievement.
