NEW BUSINESS UPDATE
CityFibre (CFHL.L), the company that owns, builds and operates fibre optic infrastructure, is pleased to confirm that Coventry City Council (the "Council") yesterday voted to approve the disposal of its Coventry Metro Area Network ("MAN") asset to the Company, subject to final contract.
The MAN comprises over 140km of local access fibre capable of gigabit speeds and currently connects over 300 buildings.
CityFibre and the Council will now negotiate the final contract in relation to the sale and purchase of the MAN and the Company will provide further updates when appropriate.
