National Grid PLC26 August 2005 Transco plc Following a gas explosion in December 1999 in Scotland which caused the tragicdeaths of four persons, Transco plc ("Transco") was yesterday fined £15 millionby the High Court in Edinburgh. Whilst deeply regretting what happened, Transco is disappointed with the verdictand is considering the judgment in detail.
