Court Extends Scope of Cablevisión Injunction

 

On 14 December 2012, Grupo Clarín S.A. (the "Company") Grupo Clarín S.A. (the "Company") informed the Argentine Securities Commission and the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange that its subsidiary Cablevisión S.A. ("Cablevisión") had been served notice of a decision rendered by Federal Civil and Commercial Court No. 3 in re "Cablevisión S.A. c/ Estado Nacional Secretaría de Comunicaciones s/amparo", whereby that court extended the scope of the existing injunction by adding parties that had to be served notice of its issuance. The court ordered the National Government - Secretariat of Communications to implement the means necessary to communicate to the Audiovisual Communication Services Law Federal Enforcement Authority (AFSCA)-a decentralized agency-the scope and effectiveness of such injunction.
