Fyffes PLC13 November 2007 Stock Exchange Announcement Supreme Court awards costs to Fyffes On 27 July 2007, five Judges of the Irish Supreme Court unanimously decided inFyffes' favour in its legal action against DCC plc, S&L Investments Limited, MrJim Flavin and Lotus Green Limited ('the defendants') in connection with thesale of 31,169,493 Fyffes shares in February 2000. Following on from thisdecision, the Supreme Court today issued an order for all costs in both the HighCourt and Supreme Court actions in favour of Fyffes. The Supreme Court today also referred the case back to the High Court todetermine the amount due to Fyffes under Part V of the Companies Act, 1990arising from the unlawful dealing by the defendants. The High Court is expectedto determine this matter in 2008.
