Costain and Ofwat Water Seminar

Costain Group PLC ("Costain") and David Black, CEO of Ofwat, will this morning host a seminar at the offices of Liberum Capital on the development of the water sector as it moves into the new AMP8 regulatory cycle. No material new information or update on trading will be provided by Costain at this meeting.

In July 2023, Costain was appointed by United Utilities to work as its Managed Service Provider for a further two years, which represents its first AMP8 programme. Costain was also appointed in September 2023 by Severn Trent within a previously announced agreement as part of its Capital Delivery Framework. Costain expects to see growth in the water sector, as it expands its current portfolio under the AMP8 programme.

Costain provides capital delivery programmes for Anglian Water, Severn Trent Water, Southern Water, and Thames Water; maintenance services for United Utilities under AMP7; consultancy services for Southern Water, Thames Water and Yorkshire Water; and digital services to Anglian Water.
