This announcement replaces the total voting rights announcement released onTuesday 4 May 2010. The Sterling denominated Shares have 1.6 voting rights pershare rather than the 1.4 originally stated. All other information remains thesame. TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS BLACKROCK ABSOLUTE RETURN STRATEGIES LTD ("the Company")
In conformity with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules ("the Rules"), the Company would like to notify the market of the following:
The Company's issued share capital consists of the following:
- 2,189,040 Euro denominated Shares with 1.4 voting rights per share - 2,206,732 US Dollar denominated Shares with 1 voting right per share - 10,680,599 Sterling denominated Shares with 1.6 voting rights per share - (excluding 330,750 treasury shares)
The total number of voting rights in the Company is therefore 22,360,346 - (excluding treasury shares).
The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Rules.
