CORRECTION RE HOLDING IN COMPANY

Chemring Group PLC ("the Company") has been notified by Schroders plc that the TR1 disclosure made by Schroders plc and Schroder Investment Management Limited on 25 February 2016 regarding their percentage of voting rights in the Company was incorrect and should be disregarded.

Schroders plc and Schroder Investment Management Limited have confirmed that they have not crossed any thresholds on voting rights requiring disclosure since their last TR1 disclosure was made to the Company on 24 June 2015, in which they disclosed that they had crossed the 10% threshold.
