Correction of a clerical error in the content of the Articles of Association of Societatea Energetica Electrica S.A. (Electrica)

Electrica informs its shareholders and investors on the correction of a clerical error in the content of the Articles of Association of Electrica. The clerical error consisted in the fact that, after the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) of Electrica held on 27 April 2017, the Art. 20, (1), A. letter f) regarding the merger and spin-off operations regarding the subsidiaries of the company was not eliminated from the competences of Electrica's EGMS, as it had been approved by the respective EGMS. Thus, from the previous version of Electrica's Articles of Association the respective paragraph was eliminated.
